Makalu west-east sherpini-col trekking

Makalu west east west sherpini-col trekking is another most lovely trek located in the eastern part of Nepal. This trek is the most difficult trek in the Himalaya then compare to other. To trek Sherpini col, East and West col, one must have a basic climbing experience or rope skill. as it goes beyond standard trekking trails into the glaciers and snow field involving glacier crossing and climbing to three difficult high passes all of them over 20000ft or 6000mtr. The trekking to Makalu region is protected by Makalu Barun National Park and Conservation Project established in 1992. Mt. Makalu (8,463 m) is the fifth highest peaks in the world. From the Makalu Base camp the trek heads westwards via the Mt. Barunche base and climbs to the high passes of East col (6100+m) West col (6100+m) and Amphulabcha Pass (5845m) to arrive the Mt. Everest region.

This is an absolute classic adventure right into the heart of the wildest Himalayas where only a few people dare to venture into. The trip makes a high mountain traverse across Barun Glacier from Makalu base camp emerging into Hinku valley and finally into the high alpine valley of Humbugs across the most challenging East Col (6100 m) and West Col (6135m).
